Good ambience. The lunch menu was good despite the Korona restrictions. We ate well, small smear (The portions weren't really big) as one is actually used to from Franconian cuisine.

We were in the city of Selb, a city of china. Here we visited the porcelain museum. I recommend it to everyone who loves porcelain and wants to know something about history, production technology and see beautiful things. The restaurant is part of the complex, but we were not there. The town of Selb itself is nice and it can be seen that it was connected with the local pottery factory. Very nice.

There was nothing to complain about on the menu at the last crime dinner. Good portion and taste. Dispenser still expandable, especially with wheat beer!

Attached to the porcelain museum, this café is located in the entrance building. The rooms were carelessly designed. Artificial flowers, cardboard boxes, etc. Worn out coffee dishes. About the quality of the food: we had fried potatoes, bread soup and cakes (only really delicious food), otherwise loveless, tasteless and greasy. Operation runs back and forth in a running step while the boss (?) First drinks a coffee. The two stars are for the friendly but obviously unskilled service and the cake.

With an occupancy of 8 people, you had to wait 45 minutes for your meal. The food was basically bad, the service acceptable. In addition, there were plastic packaging residues in the schnitzel that were baked / fried and therefore it was not edible. This was communicated to the staff, whereupon the boss still charged € 5 for the non-edible dish.

The dishes we ordered tasted very good. The service was very friendly and quick. The rooms are bright and modern. The old distillery is located outside of Selb. We had parked on the train station side. When we went to the car after dinner, a gate was closed because the china icon had closed. We had to find a way through the factory premises. Approach via "Werner-Schürer-Platz" would probably be better.
